A role-based order-to-dispatch system that digitized every handoff—so material moves faster, status stays visible, and shelf-life loss drops.

We modernized the workflow by building a structured, role-based system with clear responsibility and auditability:

  • Distributor creates order
  • Admin approves/rejects
  • Dispatch scans items and packs/dispatches
  • Distributor scans to confirm receipt
  • System updates shelf-life and holding status automatically

Role-based Workflow Modernization

Built separate interfaces and permissions for Admin, Distributor, Dispatch—and ensured each role could act only on its stage.

Real-time Status Visibility

Implemented order states (created/accepted/dispatched/received/rejected) with visual status codes—so teams saw exactly where every order was.

Scan-led Dispatch & Receipt Confirmation

Dispatch scanned inventory items to validate packing; distributors scanned order QR codes to auto-confirm receipt—reducing manual follow-ups.

Shelf-life Tracking & Movement Analytics

Enabled barcode-driven tracking to identify where products were held, for how long, and by which role supporting faster movement decisions.
