Cloud + Enterprise Modernization
Turn Inventory Faster
BTL partnered with Swabhav Venturelabs to modernize its distribution workflows with a role-based order-to-dispatch system—so inventory movement became trackable, faster, and easier to control across the network.
By digitizing order, dispatch, and receipt handoffs—BTL improved visibility across the distributor chain and reduced product holding time (shelf life), directly improving working capital efficiency.
Key Services
Maximize material movement and reduce shelf life of products.
BTL’s products were getting stuck at distributor/dealer levels—resulting in slow movement and limited visibility into why sales weren’t increasing or how long inventory was sitting idle.
The goal was to modernize distribution operations so every stage—from order creation to dispatch to receipt—became visible, accountable, and faster.

inventory efficiency
A role-based order-to-dispatch system that digitized every handoff—so material moves faster, status stays visible, and shelf-life loss drops.
Addressing Core Challenges
BTL’s bottlenecks were operational:
- Orders were hard to track end-to-end
- Dispatch depended on manual coordination
- Inventory availability checks were inconsistent
- Receipt confirmation and shelf-life tracking lacked system-level visibility
Hands-on Delivery Structure
We modernized the workflow by building a structured, role-based system with clear responsibility and auditability:
- Distributor creates order
- Admin approves/rejects
- Dispatch scans items and packs/dispatches
- Distributor scans to confirm receipt
- System updates shelf-life and holding status automatically
Role-based Workflow Modernization
Built separate interfaces and permissions for Admin, Distributor, Dispatch—and ensured each role could act only on its stage.
Real-time Status Visibility
Implemented order states (created/accepted/dispatched/received/rejected) with visual status codes—so teams saw exactly where every order was.
Scan-led Dispatch & Receipt Confirmation
Dispatch scanned inventory items to validate packing; distributors scanned order QR codes to auto-confirm receipt—reducing manual follow-ups.
Shelf-life Tracking & Movement Analytics
Enabled barcode-driven tracking to identify where products were held, for how long, and by which role supporting faster movement decisions.
